30-Year Insurance Technology Sales Veteran Julie McKenna Joins mea Platform as VP of Sales, North America
Appointment reflects continued talent build out as mea accelerates growth of mea Operations
Bermuda — 25 February, 2026 — mea Platform (“mea”), the AI-native insurance technology company, today announced the appointment of Julie McKenna as Vice President of Sales, North America. Following its recent $50 million growth equity investment from SEP, mea continues to strengthen its bench as demand grows for AI-powered operations that improve combined ratios and expand margins.
McKenna joins mea with nearly 30 years of experience across the P&C insurance ecosystem, spanning operations, core systems, digital payments, and enterprise SaaS platforms. She has built and expanded strategic relationships with (re)insurance clients of all sizes and consistently exceeding client expectations.
McKenna’s background includes senior sales leadership roles at leading insurance technology providers, including Fiserv and Guidewire Software, where she sold policy, claims, billing, financial, and reinsurance platforms to carriers nationwide. She has closed multiple enterprise multi year core system platform transactions and was recognized as having some of the deepest client relationships in the industry. She later held leadership roles spanning sales and customer success, building and expanding strategic accounts across Tier 1 and specialty carriers.
In her new role, McKenna will drive execution of mea’s North America sales strategy, expanding adoption of mea Operations as carriers, brokers, and MGAs seek measurable improvements in speed, cost structure, and underwriting and claims performance.
