Job Overview

AI Director/Manager will be responsible for designing, develop, and scale the implementation of
advanced machine learning algorithms and frameworks to extract structured and unstructured data
from various document formats such as PDFs, excel sheets, word documents, and other sources. The role
blends deep technical expertise, people leadership, and ownership from roadmap definition to execution
and measurable AI outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own AI strategy, roadmap, and execution for mea. Ensure models are production-ready with
    focus on accuracy, performance, scalability, and explainability. Work closely with Product,
    Engineering, and Platform teams to embed AI into core workflows.
  • Establish clear KPIs for AI success (accuracy, turnaround time, cost efficiency, adoption), lead
    development of AI-based extraction modules (NLP, OCR, LLMs), and ensure on-time delivery while
    maintaining high model and code quality standards.
  • Manage and mentor AI/ML, data science, and prompt engineering teams
  • Lead client discussions, solutioning, and AI roadmap alignment
  • Ensure AI solutions are production-ready, scalable, and measurable

  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology
  • 15+ years of experience, Machine Learning Engineer, AI Architect, or similar role with a focus on
  • data extraction from documents with 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Prior experience in MLOps and CI/CD for ML model deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with OCR libraries (e.g., Tesseract, PyOCR), OpenCV, layout analysis models
    (e.g., LDA, CNN-based models), and object detection frameworks (e.g., YOLO, SSD).
  • Experience with LLMs (GPT-4, BERT, LLaMA) for text-based data processing.
