Role Overview


The Regional Solutions Lead, India plays a critical role in mea’s go-to-market strategy. This person partners primarily with regional solution leaders. A critical part of the sales process is successfully executing and beating client expectations on Proof of Concepts (PoCs). The role will co-ordinate
the mea team in india to ensure success, taking direction on proof of concept scope, priorities, and desired client outcomes, then translating those requirements into the processes, coordination, and backend execution needed to ensure Proof of Concepts (PoC’s) run smoothly and exceed client expectations.

Success in this role requires exceptional communication, creativity, strong organisational skills, and a deep understanding of insurance, combined with a clear understanding of mea’s product capabilities and boundaries. The ideal candidate brings a highly proactive, can-do mindset and the autonomy to
find the right answer for each PoC, using practical approaches that drive outcomes rather than being limited by what is easiest to deliver within the product today.


This role also leads the India PoC team, bringing together ex-insurance operations experts, technical team members, analysts, and other cross-functional contributors as needed to deliver market-leading solutions for clients. The role requires comfort taking direction from, and solutioning in real time with, regional solution leaders while coordinating execution across time zones, including the US and EMEA today, with Asia to follow. Success will be measured primarily by PoCs won and by the ability to consistently do what is needed to help secure the sale.

What Success Looks Like

  • Win proof of concept engagements by partnering closely with regional solution leaders, understanding what needs to happen for each PoC, and orchestrating the people, process, and backend setup required for success.
  • Consistently exceed client expectations through strong communication, creativity, and tailored solutions grounded in deep insurance expertise and a clear understanding of mea’s product capabilities and boundaries.
  • Lead, build and coordinate the India PoC team across time zones, bringing together the right mix of insurance, technical, and analytical expertise to deliver winning outcomes.
  • Measure success by PoCs won, quality of execution, and the ability to move opportunities toward sale through high-energy, autonomous delivery.
  • Champion and drive improvements within mea to always target a 100% success rate for PoCs.
  • Develop solution narratives that connect product functionality to measurable business outcomes, helping clients build confidence in the platform and its fit for their organisation.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, technical, and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are well scoped, realistic, and positioned for successful adoption.
  • Define success criteria for demonstrations and proof of concept engagements whilst being comfortable with ambiguity, so clients can confidently assess platform fit, value, and expected impact.
  • Partner with sales executives in client meetings to support the sales process and strengthen mea’s market presence.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on mea products, confidently explaining platform capabilities, use cases, and value propositions.
  • Coordinate with internal product, delivery, and technical teams to ensure demos and proof of concept activities are well prepared and effectively executed.
  • Represent mea professionally in all client interactions and build confidence through product expertise, preparation, and consultative communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with prospective and current clients by serving as a credible, knowledgeable, and responsive partner during the pre-sales and proof of concept stages.
  • Establish trust with client stakeholders by combining product expertise with a strong understanding of client objectives, workflows, and operational challenges.
  • Lead the India PoC team, bringing together ex-insurance operations experts, technical team members, analysts, and other contributors needed to execute high-quality proof of concepts across time zones.
  • Partner primarily with regional solution leaders, taking direction on PoC scope, priorities, and desired outcomes, then translating that into clear execution plans and backend coordination.
  • Use deep insurance knowledge and strong product understanding to solution on the fly with regional solution leaders, finding practical, market-beating answers that help win PoCs and support the sale.
  • Organise and mobilise the right people from the India team to make each PoC successful, ensuring strong coordination, clear communication, and follow-through on commitments.
  • Plan, manage, and execute multiple proof of concept engagements aligned to client objectives and designed to clearly demonstrate the value of mea’s products.
  • Ensure each proof of concept is scoped, organised, and executed to a high standard, with the agility to do whatever is needed to deliver results and exceed client expectations.
  • Work closely with internal teams to prepare relevant scenarios, data, and supporting materials that make demonstrations and proof of concept activities impactful and credible.
  • Track outcomes, lessons learned, and recurring client themes to continuously improve the effectiveness of future engagements.
  • Operate effectively across time zones, supporting PoC activity across the US and EMEA today while helping build readiness for Asia as the function expands.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client experiences, bringing together sales, product, and technical stakeholders as needed.
  • Share knowledge, coaching, and practical guidance with colleagues to strengthen product storytelling, demonstration effectiveness, and PoC execution across the commercial organisation.

Qualifications for the Role

  • 15+ years of experience in client-facing pre-sales or solution consulting roles, including presenting to executive and operational stakeholders, leading discovery conversations, and delivering compelling product demonstrations.
  • Demonstrated experience building and leading PoC teams, ensuring strong execution, cross-functional alignment, and successful client outcomes across multiple time zones.
  • Strong sales and solutioning experience, with a proven ability to partner effectively with sales executives, support complex sales cycles, and translate client requirements into tailored demonstrations and proof of concept strategies.
  • High energy, autonomy, and a strong can-do attitude, with a track record of doing whatever is needed to make PoCs successful and help secure the sale.
  • Proven experience leading a portfolio of proof-of-concept engagements from scoping through execution, including defining success criteria, aligning stakeholders, managing timelines, and demonstrating measurable business value.
  • Deep understanding of insurance operations and workflows, combined with strong knowledge of product capabilities and boundaries, with the judgment to craft winning PoC approaches.
  • Excellent communication skills, creativity, and executive presence, with confidence facilitating live solutioning, workshops, and high-stakes client and internal conversations.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, delivery, and technical teams to prepare customized demonstrations, evaluation scenarios, and supporting materials.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple proof of concept engagements simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote environment while maintaining responsiveness, detail, and follow-through.
  • Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, AI automation, insurance technology, or other complex solution-based environments where consultative selling and client education are essential.

  • Experience in insurance, insurtech, fintech, SaaS, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience with AI, automation, analytics, or data-driven products.
  • Track record of improving products, processes, or client-facing workflows in high-growth or fast-changing environments.
