Testing Engineer

Job Overview
An automation testing engineer at mea plays a crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our product. The individual will work closely with the developmentteam and will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality. This position requires the individual to have the willingness to learn the technical expertise, and able to work in fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with tech team, project manager to understand the requirements and test plans.
- Write and execute manual/automated test cases on react js and node js
- Conduct manual/automated testing to validate the functionality, performance and security of web applications.
- Execute automated test scripts and analyze the results to identify defects and ensure quality.
- Perform regression testing to verify that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Collaborate with tech team to debug and analyze reported issues. Create detailed bug reports.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Playwright automation framework.
- Good knowledge of writing test scripts in JavaScript / TypeScript / Python / C#
(depending on stack). - Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
Education
- BTech or bachelor’s in computer science.
- 3+years of experience.
- Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
